Here!! I couldnt be more excited to be going away for the weekend! So excited to see some great friends and just be away from home with just hubby this weekend! This pic is old but i felt like it describes me best at this moment! And ya know it happens to be one of elis fav pics of me! Lol might have something to do with the adorable skeleton who looks like hes running for his life! Happy 4th Birthday!!!

Happy 4th Birthday to my not such a baby anymore Elijah! He goes by Eli of course, and I bet you cant guess what his favorite color is! ;) The pictures in order are; him with one of his special yellow bulldozer cookies with a number 4 on it that i made him, a new holland tractor from levi, a yellow super hero squad birthday card (spiderman is his favorite and i just couldnt help myself!) a set of yellow CAT stickers, a yellow snake, a set of spiderman stickers, a pair of gray with yellow stripe shorts, a white/yellow tank top, and a gray/yellow striped shirt! He got spoiled, but honestly when i found all these things over the last month its soo hard to say no when the snake hed love costs a buck or a set of spidey stickers is a buck... so yea hes spoiled! ;) Anyways I cant believe that hes four today! And Im off so I gave him his stuff on Wednesday! I hope hes having a great day!! Love you lil man! :)

Boys bushes and birds!

Seriously, these boys are too much. I just had to share these few pictures... yesterday at city park i told eli he could pretend swim in the fountain since its not turned on yet. He got full blown in his imaginary play and pulled his shorts up like they were getting wet! Hilarious as i could see his underwear! Then of course a cute pic of the baby in the stroller. And a pic of our pretty bush that flowered within the last two days. Dont no what kind it is, but its pretty! And then the kitties watching the birdies! They have been soooo wanting to get out there! And last... one verrrry sassy badger baby! Oh man was he a handful today! I felt at my wits end at like 10 am! It was seriously one of the worst days ive had since he was born! Hopefully mommy has a good talk with him tonight! ;)

Cuties and weight

I havent checked in for quite a while about our weight loss and such. So thats what this is! :) Let me start by saying Im a lil jealous of all those girls who say that the first place that goes when they lose weight is their boobs. Ok fine im super jealous! I could use to lose a cup or four! ;) Sometimes i wonder what itd be to be a guy.. and how itd he a lil easier to walk fast and run without feeling like everythings bouncing for all around to see! Lol not that i wana be a guy.. just sometimes i think itd be alright to not have these two additions on the front side! :) And im a lil sad i dont feel like ive lost anything in my thighs/legs yet. But those are some crazy hard areas so i know itll take a lot of specific workouts to get those. Annnnyways, i am verrry proud to say that as of sunday, i lost 13.5 lbs! And levi has lost 17!  We usually have 1 day a week that we go over, else were within like 50 calories of our target calorie count for the day. I can def tell a diff on levi. I also feel like i can on me, but i dont feel like others can. Meaning i can tell when im say in the shower, but not when im in the same clothes i was wearing before. Who nos, maybe when im in my swim suit someone will notice! :) either way, its not about others noticing, its about leading a healthy life style and trying to work out.

Speaking of working out, im not good at it. The weight ive lost is completely thanks to my eating changes, not at all cause of working out. I only do it here and there with no consistency. Im hoping with this great weather around that will change. Especially with summer when i have more time off and a friend to go biking with me! :) but until then ill keep taking my boys on walks every day. Pushing those two chubby clowns is enough of a workout for me! ;)

Anyways i added a few pics since they r recent and adorable! The one pic of Ryleigh and I is just one of my most favs ever! So sweet! And the one of just her, seriously she couldnt get any cuter!!! Lol! And Elis pic yesterday with the sunscreen was just too funny! He wont get burned thats forsure! And the last pic of Emmett and I from today is so sweet! He loves my phone.. :) And i felt like maybe a recent pic of me with my weight loss would go good in this post!

Oh and i forgot to say for the first time ever Levi and I walked to my grandmas house! Its a 2 mile walk! I was so proud of him doing it with me! His comment was 'this is like hell!' And i said 'no, itd be hell if we were jogging!!' Lol!!! He of course convinced my parents to drive us home afterwards so he didnt have to walk back. But still, 2 miles is better then nothing! :) Ok thats all for now! Im ready for the weekend and some much needed relaxing time! :)

Visitors

We have some 4 legged friends visiting our house for just under 3 weeks! Im of course loving it. Levi likes them too, but now he says hell willingly get me a cat if i keep our house as clean as its been since theyve joined us on wednesday! Im keeping it clean of course so they dont get into everything! ;) Anyways Oscar (the black/white boy) and Miami (the gray/orange/white girl) are the kitties of the neighbors from our old house. We used to watch them when their parents went out of state for work for about a month at a time. Obviously we dont live over there anymore, but they still needed someone to watch the kitties. I offered and they accepted! Yay! Miami is a cat they rescued so shes kind of skiddish at first. Thats why her first picture is under the guest bed, cause the first few days she wldnt come out if we were around. Now she comes out and loves attention. She is such a good kitty! Oscar never hides, altho he does spend time under the bed with his sissy :) ... however he is an extremely mischievous kitty, and loooves to be naughty! He also thinks hes a dog, because he loves to go on walks and be outside. However they didnt bring his leash over, so he sounds like hes being tortured meowing away like poor him he cant go outside when weve had all the windows and patio door open all weekend. ;) oh and his pic is of him drinking out of the faucet since thats how he likes to drink. I think its hilarious. :) he really doesnt realize hes a cat! Lol!!! Anywho, thats all the excitement we have going on :)

Parks

The weathers been great lately. After school on Tuesday we went tp the library and then to city park. Thats the first few pics. Emmett got his very first swing ride. He was ok w it but didnt really like it. he loved those bars u can pull to make music tho! Then thursday we went to memorial park. Oh man he was loving it. He loved the swing. And loved the car. And loved going down the slide. Of course loved the music bar things again. Loved the steering wheel with his big brother. So much fun! He was smiling soo big the entire time we were there. Then we went home and he instantly got his crabbies and asleep he went! It was like a switch went off! So cute tho! Eli of course loves everything at the parks, especially the spider web since he loves spider man. He also loves crawling around to growl at all the other guests. Sometime thats ok.. and sometime he scares off all the lil girls! ;) Anyways were loving this weather! Of course when Isaac gets home from school weve been playing lots of basketball. Hes just started to love it in the last month. Hes actually pretty good. Of course i wont turn down a game of basketball ;)

Forgot to mention the 2 middle pics of emmett were from wednesday when we took a walk and he got his shirt all wet from his water bottle so i toom his shirt and pants off. Then i set him down and he started crawling and i about died of laughter seeing just how pudgey his rolls on his legs were! Had to share it cause its so cute! Wish my rolls were that cute! Lol! And the other pic is of him trying to get up by the couch and sometimes he tries from too far away and cant make it. As a result he ends up lookn like a ramp! And he is terrified and cant get down! Mean kayla had to take a pic becuz its just too funny and it wont be long and hell figure it out! Had to have a pic to remember! Hes such a stinker! :)

Fudge

Most know, I used to work in the fudge department of Scheels Sporting Goods, and no don't ask me how fudge and sports go together. ;) I got that question ALL the time while working there, but I still don't quite get it. Anyways a few weeks after Levi and I started dating, his family had pictures taken. And one of the quotes that Alicia (i believe it was alicia, pardon me if it was someone else!) put on one of the pictures they gave to Levi to put up in his apartment was this...

Of course I L-O-V-E-D the quote. With my love for fudge. And with my love for family. And my family's nuts! Seriously what would be fudge (or family!) without a few nuts! My family has one great nut, my Uncle Dave. He is the husband of my mother's sister. He is the father to Deanna & Josh. Josh and Cody (my brother) are 2 days apart in age. This made them best friends growing up. And it made Deanna and I pretty close as Josh and Cody hung out all the time, so we did too.

Quite a few years ago, Dave got cancer. He was real sick for a long time. They removed a football sized tumor from his stomach when they first diagnosed him. I cant even imagine that. He went through lots of treatments and went into remission. At his three year check up for making sure it hadn't come back, they found it indeed was back. The doctor took his other scans from the other years previous that he was in "remission" and here, it had been there the entire time. Just heart breaking. And that was two years ago this past month. He's been in treatment with his ever changing cancer for over 2 years now. They always wanted to keep it on the 'down low' and hush hush. They'd not tell anyone about it so that everyone would have a happy Christmas (or whatever holiday) and then share little bits after the holiday was over. But I don't really know a time where they have ever straight discussed it. Now this past year you can tell somethings not right. His last birthday party (in july) his entire family was there with our family. Thats not normal since theres usually separate birthday parties for his family and our family. And he hugged literally everyone at so many of the holidays. Its not uncommon to hug everyone, but all the time, its just been like hmm i wonder if somethings up?

Well this last week Deanna and I (and another of our cousins Ashley) went to get pedis. Deanna told us that Dave is not doing good. He has fluid around his stomach, lungs, and somewhere else i can't remember. They drained 17 lbs of fluid from just around his stomach. Thats crazy. Well my mom talked to Nancy (my aunt, Dave's wife) and she said that Dave asked the doctor "Deanna's getting married in August, will I make it to my daughters wedding?" And the doctor wouldn't say one way or another. They are saying its only a matter of time now, but won't say how long. Of course no one every knows how long one has, but I can't imagine my family without this one crazy nut.

Anyways, now that I'm crying over here, I just felt like sharing in case I seem emotional, this has been weighing on me the last week. And it's looking like its going to be a long rough road to come. I'll be praying he makes it to Deannas wedding, but I'm just praying he doesn't have to endure much more pain.

All thats left to say is... Cancer sucks!

Finished!!

Heres the closet! Im doing this from my phone and have no idea which order the pictures will upload so ill just tell you whats what and you can hopefully figure out! The far left side of the closet is levis. Hes got a top and bottom hanging area as well as the first set of shelves. The from the shelves goes to my hanging areas. Then my shelves. Then on the far right is the long hanging area, which will house all our long stuff (which neither of us have much...) and probably some off season stuff like jackets and brewer jerseys. Ya know! Then theres a picture up, showing the top shelf.. or kind of showing it. Its way up there.. so itll store off season clothes, shoes, and boots. And whatever else makes its way up there of course! I could start putting everything in there but i want to give it one full night to be absolutely dry. And some might think it looks crazy like theres not much hanging area, but we gained approximately 18 inches of hanging area compared to having just one pole running all the way across. And that doesnt include any of the amazing shelf space i now have! The shelves will hold all our pants cause i hate hanging them and our dresser drawers are too wide for one pair but not wide enough for 2 pairs.. does that make sense? If you put a pair of jeans in our dresser it leaves this awkward 4-6 inches on one side. Like what can u do with that?! Lol! So when we made the shelves in the closet we folded our jeans and figured out exactly what would fit them best. :) im also going to fold some of my sweatshirts as theyre baggy to hang, so all of that stuff used to be hung so well gain all that back in hanging space! Im soo excited! I absolutely love how it turned out! Thanks to my wonderful hubby!!! :)

The shades

Seriously.. why does there have to be so many different shades of gray. It disgusts me even looking at this picture.. which happens to be the view i see when i wake up since its right above my night stand. Id previously posted a pic of the top two colors. The top left lookd slightly blue. The top right slightly brown. Wasnt happy. Went to store and got two more testers. Picked them right off my pillow case to match. Yea. Those are the bottom two. The left one looks more blue then the one above it that i originally thought looked blue. The bottom right is sooo dark on the wall (wasnt on the card!!!) That it looks like navy blue... almost black! Its so odd. Im so frustrated because now, i like the original two top colors better, but i know i didnt like them before. Seriously. Incase you dont remember our bedroom colors are white, black, red, and gray. Im not going to paint white because after renting so long white is out the window for this gal. Black is just a no go unless i was painting a chalkboard wall... which im not! Lol. Red, no way, since its not one of my fav colors, its levis, but i wld not want to wake up to red. So gray it is. And gray just might turn my hair that color sooner after having to try and find the right gray. Who knew itd be so frustrating?! Uhhhhhh!!!

Rainy

Although the weathers been amazingly warm its kind of making one huge mess out of the yards. Which of course means we cant go out to play! Today as the snow was melting very quickly with our 60+ degrees (not sure what we got to but saw 58 on my drive home at 615 so i assume we hit over 60 lol) weather and it was a 'charlie day' which just means cousin charlie came to play which in turn means no nap for eli. Anyways the day gets long so i had to get creative. We brought some of the snow in secretly hoping its the very last time well be doing it this winter... or is it spring?! Lol! Anyways they had a field day playing with their tractors in it. Kept them occupied near 2 hrs straight! We had to do it in the laundry room incase ur wondering why such a small room. We did this cause its the only flooring thats not wood floor, or well carpet. Lol. Anyways emmett had to see what the commotion was about. He tried getting a few tractors but quickly decided it wasnt worth freezing his hands off. It was so cute. :) anyways, that was our fun rainy day today!

Progress!

Theres progress being made! My closet is almost together! Im so in love with it! All that needs to be done is painted and to put the poles on and clothes back in! Im going to take everything off hangers and hang them all the same way cause i can not wait for it to be all organized!! Soo excited! Of course ill take pictures after its done! :)
