Taxes

I hate this time of year. Taxes are no fun. Especially with my job and technically being 'self-employed'... one benefit to that tho is i can claim all my miles to and from work and during work. Its a benefit but a pain in the you know where at the same time. Trying to calculate exactly how many miles that is can be a little frustrating. I have a whole piece of paper filled with tiny little numbers that im certain if anyone else even looked at theyd think ive lost it. Its a good thing i love math, cause else thatd of been an annoying process. I actually enjoyed writing out my multiplications i was doing instead of just using a calculator. I prob should go back tho with the calculator and recheck ;)

So anyways im about to go work out, then shower, then get the rest of my paperwork together. Hopefully making a call to the ortho and dentist will help me shed light on how much ive spent there to see if it qualifies as enough to claim. Ive never tried to claim anything under that column since ive never spent even remotely close to enough. Well i have, when i had my two acl surgeries, but i was a minor then so that wasnt technically 'me' claiming that. :) Either way im hoping and thinking that with all the filings and braces added together itll be enough. Well see! :)

Theres various reasons we have NO earthly idea if we will owe in this year or receiving back, but i feel like we should be safe. Levis very nervous we will owe in. But as long as we dont owe in i can go ahead with all the projects i wanted to do! I realized i have a 4 day weekend at the end of this month which would be perfect for a 'small' redo. Note: no redo ever ends up small in this house! Yikes! But that weekend ill do the office, and since its identical to the guest bedroom but its 2 feet less wide, i HOPE i know all the things im getting myself into. We will paint and redo the closet just like the guest bedroom closet. Then paint prob 3-4 coats of paint on the ceiling again. Then paint the walls a light yellow. This will eventually (in like 5 years! :P) be the nursery, so id like it to be a calming color i can incorporate into either gender and not have to repaint til after we have a second child whos a few years old. Yea long time away! :) its not really necessary to paint it as its just off white but knowing how dirty the other room was, i definitely think it needs to be done. :)

Then i found out when my spring break is! So during that ill redo our bedroom! Yay! That i have no idea what im gettn myself into. :) with cathedral ceilings and a closet that needs to be completely redone into a storage system thing that hubby will build shall prove to be quite entertaining at the least. The walls/ceilings will all be gray with one wall being dark gray.

Anyways, thats my excitement for now! Im hoping that we dont owe in so that i can do my projects! :) oh well, tomorrow night will come soon enough and we will find out! :) later gators!
