Hopeful

Today I woke up feeling hopeful. I got a lot of feed back yesterday and hope today goes as well. We have been inquiring about Sarahs adoption. I would link to my previous posts where i talked about her but Im using the app on my phone to blog and Im not sure how to link to there, so hopefully yous remember her. Anyways, I was feeling helpless the other day because after inquiring more and getting extremely confusing letters back from the Reeces Rainbow I am to understand just how much itd cost to bring Sarah home. I knew foreign adoptions are expensive. Ive heard 25,000... 30,000... but usually in that ballpark. Well Sarah happens to live in an area thats not the cheapest areas. So her adoption is 25,000- not including travel. Okay doesnt sound bad until you go look up plane tickets. Then your head will be spinning. The lady told me youd fly into Moscow and take a train from there. Oh and did i mention Sarahs country doesnt require the normal 2 trip visit- it requires 3! The first trip both parents have to go for two weeks! Second trip both parents for an unknown length. And Third trip just 1 parent to go and bring Sarah home. So ultimately thats 5 1/2 trips via airplane. And i went from milwaukee to at least make it a little cheaper. Yea- crazy expensive. And no train cost included. No hotels included. No food included. So itd easily be over 40,000. :( now maybe everyone can understand my devastation from my last post. But Sarahs account does have 1400 dollars in it... which it actually jumped to yesterday because before that it was only 900. Anyways that makes me think someone out there is looking at her picture dreaming of being her mommy! So im hopeful someone else is moving ahead on this dream that seems like thee hugest mountain to over come. BUT i have a dream too. Maybe my dream of bringing her home to be my daughter wont come true, but i still dream of getting her home to whoever God is calling to be her mommy! So stay tuned for some exciting adventures to hopefully make that happen! Id blog it all now, but i have more emails to send out before i spill the beans officially! :)))
