Ask and you shall receive!

This post is for a certain someone who wanted pictures of the outside of our house... I went outside tonight since it was beautiful out and took pictures for you! Keep in mind, the outside needs just as much help as the inside! :) You'd have to look back at my first post of pictures of the house when we officially were owners to see a picture of the outside of the front before we ripped out all the shrubs cause I didn't remember to take pictures before going wild on them! They were sooo wicked and over grown and nasty, I was SO excited to tear them out! Anyways theres lots of pictures here, and ends with the living room which I had skipped and now I've not been lazy and went and found them..... Enjoy!
Looking out from the patio to the left.
looking straight out... its just a concrete slab...
Theres hubby mowing the lawn! :) Here it is pretty obvious the amount of work we've done outside already. The grading was VERY bad when we bought the house. We knew that before buying.. believe me it was that bad it was VERY obvious.. :) .. Anyways the part that is not mowed is all new dirt and seed planted. The concrete slab that you can see in the upper right of the picture is from the garage back entrance. Before, it had like a 2 foot drop off of it, not like immediately 2 feet but thats how much lower it was. The deck was also that bad of a drop off, and now it is even with it and the slope goes away from the house, not towards it! :)
Here's the reason hubby agreed to buy the house, the garage! It is a 2 1/2 stall garage, but the truck parks on the left and my car parks on the right and the trailer fits end to end with my car with a lil over 2 feet to spare. That way, everything fits in the garage! Perfect! :)Theres hubby standing in the garage playing on his cell phone.. :) Anways, going around the side of the garage is some big shrub.. and where i planted the rhubarb (which is only slightly coming up... eeeeeh :/) and more new grass! :)
Around the back yard, obviously this side is the garage.. :)
blurry picture but its the one that shows the depth of the lot the best.. sorry!

The garage back entrance... then the 2 windows: the one on the left is the laundry room and the right is the 1/2 bath.
The next window over is the kitchen window. Obviously patio doors, then our master bath window, then master bedroom window. That master bath "pop out" area helps you understand how itty bitty our master bath is! Even the window is tiny! :) I wonder if hubby would let me take it out when we redo the bathroom.. whats the point of it anyways! although I did just buy a shade for it! lol!
again, back of house.going around the other side of the house. all the way up to the air conditioner is new grass. this back corner is our master bedroom, which is that window on the end of the house with the arch.
back yard.. spotty grass.. :/
side of our house... more spotty grass... and a fire hydrant that is just barely off our lot.. Thank Goodness!!!

side of house.. our master bedroom window... nothing much going on over here!
all those wood chips had shrubs in them.. and my dad and i ripped them out... Yay! we kept that one big plant on the left to cover the air conditioner look from the road.. and the one tree thing on the right... but there is 1 lilac bush in the front you can kind of see from here that we left... :)Theres the lilac bush! I lost count of how many different kinds of plants and how many in total amount we took out! It was nuts. Over grown like crazy and just TONS of them! Ick!
The left window is the guest bedroom and the right is the office. So happy to be able to SEE the front of our house now! :) We plan to rip out all the wood chips (levis not a fan!) and probably go a lil less wide (it is very wide!) with the 'flower bed' area... and honestly i think were just going to do decorative stone for the most part. I am soo not a plant person. If I plant anything its merigolds or petunias. So, i think this area will just be the one lilac bush... :)
the front door, the living room window, the side garage door, and my dutch people! oh and some more watermelon.. yipes! lol! where the dutch people are the shrubs we ripped out we thought were 3 shrubs. it ended up there was 6, just very over grown they all touched everywhere. it was insane. here I plan on doing more decorative stone in the middle with maybe 12 inches around the inside of the side walk (where the dutch people are but only 12 inches touching the side walk.. make sense?) where i'll put some flowers. that way, it'll be manageable. It doesn't look that big, but its HUGE! it would take lots of flats of flowers to fill, so.. no thank you!
and that lil area with wood chips I think I will do some more flowers. Either way, it'll be stone or flowers and no wood chips. :)

And our huge tree in our front yard. I love it. I just wish it was in the back yard. I was going to take a picture of our house from the front when we left, but we never left. It doesn't cover a ton of the front, but it does cover some. its just very big and i wish I could just see the whole front of the house and it didnt block it. So it makes me sad that its soo big.. :( in other news I want to put some apple trees in the back yard.. LoL!

Now, some living room pics! The living room wall looking towards the kitchen from the front door area.
looking from the dining room towards the fire place. lovely hubby.. :)

looking from the dining room towards the front door. theres a coat closet there.
looking from fire place towards the hall way to the bedrooms.. :)

And thats all I've got for now! Hope you enjoyed your rest of your tour around the inside and outside of the house! :) And, your welcome! :))))
